Nuovi Driver Nvidia 477.11 WHQL, F1 2021 ma non solo.

Nuovi drivers da parte di Nvidia 477.11 che introducono il supporto a F1 2021, oltre l’introduzione della modalità Ray Tracing di DOOM Eternal insieme a DLSS, mentre Escape From Tarkov sarà dotato della tecnologia Reflex, LEGO^® Builder’s Journey sia Ray Tracing che DLSS, infine Rust che si impreziosirà solo di DLSS.

Grande notizie per gli utenti Linux, il layer di compatibilità sviluppato da Valve Proton spotrà utilizzare, nei titoli che lo supportano, DLSS, tra questi lo stesso Doom Eternal, No Man’s Sky e Wolfenstein: Youngblood, la procedura per abilitarlo non è per nulla complessa:

• Scaricare gli ultimi Linux driver
• Installare e lanciare Steam
• Selezionare settings nel menù a tendina
• Selezionare nella finestra pop-up Steam Play
• Selezionare “Enable Steam Play for supported titles” e “Enable Steam Play for all other titles”
• Poi portarsi nella categoria “Run other Titles with”, nel menù a cascata abilitare Proton Experimental
• Lanciare e giocare un titolo che supporta DLSS
