Kopite7kimi, noto ed affidabile leaker, intervenendo in una discussione su X, ha pronosticato l’utilizzo di diversi GPU Die (AD102 o AD103, etc) per le GPU Super della serie 4000 (nello specifico 4080 e 4090).
Stando ai Rumors la probabile RTX 4080 Super, dovrebbe implementare 20 GB di memoria, ampliando il bus della GPU da 256 a 320-bit (opzione questa supportata esclusivamente da AD102).
Per quanto riguarda la 4070 Super invece dovrebbe essere presente esclusivamente un incremento nel Core Count, il quale però dovrebbe restare inferiore alla RTX 4070 Ti potrebbe arrivare sia attraverso l’utilizzo dell’AD103 che dell’AD104.
Ad ogni modo l’aggiornamento delle RTX 40 Super, stando alle fonti di Videocardz, dovrebbe arrivare in futuro, ma non sarà di sicuro in un futuro prossimo, essendoci ancora molte indecisioni per quelle che sarebbero le possibili specifiche tecniche finali.
Interessante, potrebbero essere chip di scarto delle serie superiori adattati per inserirsi in una posizione intermedia.
