Nuovo Driver AMD, 24.6.1, supporto ufficiale ai nuovi videogiochi The First Descendant e Once Human, ma non solo, sembra una release corposa e quella che traghetterà il debutto di FSR 3.1, slegando le tecniche di upscaling da quelle di frame generation, nel senso che saranno abilitabili separatamente.
Aumentano anche i profili preconfigurati di HYPR-TUNE (una ottimizzazione abilitabile con un click e che integra diverse prerogative Open-Gpu e specifiche Radeon), lo troveremo per i seguenti titoli:

Questi 24.6.1 sono inoltre i primi a supportare Windows 11 24H2 e ritorna pure Anti-lag 2 in Counter-Strike dopo i noti problemi di ban che provocò al suo debutto.
Continua il lavoro poi, a livello software, su AI, in questo caso in ambito LLMs per risparmiare risorse grazie alla 4 bit quantization e lo sviluppo di piattaforme come ROCm per l’impostazioni di soluzioni di machine learning, ma sono ambiti che in effetti ci interessano sostanzialmente meno.

- Intermittent black corruption may be observed on scaled 3d models while using Origin or OriginPro application. [Resolution targeted for 24.7.1]
- Audio and video may intermittently become out of sync while recording using the AV1 codec in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. [Resolution targeted for Q3]
